This beautiful cemetery is directly
across the Saco river from Gordon Point in Biddeford. As near as I can tell Gordon Point is approximatly
the spot where Joseph and Pike Gordon were attacked by Indians on September 6th, 1746. Joseph was killed on the spot, and
Pike was carried off to Canada. My great-great-great grandfather was named Joseph Pike Gordon in honor of his two
lost uncles.
